Keywords: Brainstorming; Problem Solving; Cooperative Learning; Flipped Classroom; Debate; Case Study.
The present paper examines some problems in the teaching of philosophy in relation to the teaching status of the discipline in the world and in different types of schools. As an alternative to the "ex cathedra" lecture, the text presents some educational participatory practices in Education: Brainstorming, Problem-solving, Cooperative learning, Flipped classroom, Debate, and Case Studies. The four examples given concern the mind-body problem, individual freedom and state laws, whether beauty in art is still an aesthetic criterion, and whether an ontology of films is possible. These examples illustrate complete more participatory teaching methods.
