In breve

This paper is a diary on a training course. A group of teachers at work is nothing new, but on this particular occasion support from the Italian Philosophical Society proved crucial. The course was a most valuable experience for everyone: as by investigating current research and challenges, it left a mark on and strengthened our sense of belonging, dialogical practices, genuine philosophical reflection, positiveness and team-working for research and problem-solving. The activities were held in Avellino, under the patronage of the “Consorzio Irpino per la promozione della Cultura, della Ricerca e degli Studi Universitari”. The topics covered were: methodological and didactic supports; the freedom of reason; the priority is inter-disciplinarity; the usefulness of philosophy for the theory of human development; the link between ethics and economics.
Keywords: philosophy, mathematics, economics, education, SFI Avellino.
