The purpose of this study is to analyse the “place” in poems of Attilio Bertolucci from the 1930s. The work takes into account the poems during the years 1930-1937, from the first collection, Sirio (Minardi, Parma), published in 1929, to the collection Fuochi in Novembre (Minardi, Parma), published in 1934, together whith unplished works written between 1930-1940 («Poesie inedite degli anni tra le due guerre e del primo dopoguerra», Archivio di Stato di Parma, Archivio della Letteratura-Archivio Bertolucci, dossier II, 4). These poems show, through literary interpretation labels, the poet’s process of mythicizing Parmesan places.
