David Sedley

È Laurence Professor di Filosofia antica presso l’Università di Cambridge. È autore di molti volumi, tra cui Lucretius and the Transformation of Greek Wisdom (1998), Plato’s Cratylus (2003), The Midwife of Platonism: Text and Subtext in Plato’s Theaetetus (2004; trad. it. 2011), ed è il curatore di The Cambridge Companion to Greek and Roman Philosophy (2003), di Pyrrhonists, Patricians, Platonizers: Hellenistic Philosophy in the Period 155-86 bc.
