Daniela Cesiri

Holds a PhD in English Language and Linguistics. She is currently Senior Lecturer in the Department of Comparative Linguistic and Cultural Studies at “Ca’ Foscari” University of Venice (Italy), where she teaches Applied English Linguistics, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Varieties of English in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Her research interests focus on applied linguistics, pragmatics, the use of corpora for discourse analysis, metaphors in esp and the study of esp in different settings, domains and genres.
